The eMERGE reporting guidance for meta-ethnography, which was submitted for publication in 2017 and should soon be published, includes reporting guidance for when using the CERQual (‘Confidence in the Evidence from Reviews of Qualitative research’) approach. CERQual enables assessments to be made about the confidence that can be attributed to synthesised qualitative findings to inform decision-making.
A series of papers on the application of CERQual is published today in Implementation Science.
